An oral health resolution is making a commitment to taking care of your teeth. That might mean better and/or longer brushing, stepping up the flossing game, or scheduling routine checkups with the dentist. It is important to make and keep these resolutions so that patients have a bright, happy smile and no cavities. Ignore your teeth and they will definitely go away!
Maintaining these resolutions throughout the year can be both fun and straightforward. Set a reminder on your phone, download a toothbrushing app, create a colorful chart to set goals and pick a reward for keeping them, keeping a toothbrush and toothpaste in more than one bathroom, and on different levels of your home, or find something else that motivates you.
Outside of your home, our team can help you reach your goals. We encourage patients to make and keep regular appointments. We follow up when appointments are canceled, so patients don't go too long in-between checkups. And we always provide excellent, quality care and are on the lookout for things like potential airway issues, which can be the root cause of so many other issues.
When there are so many issues that can begin your mouth, such as sensitivity to cold and hot foods, we want to make sure that you know exactly what is wrong. Maintaining proper oral hygiene means that your teeth can stay healthy and strong.
