Celebrating Mother’s Day

“I cannot recommend this wonderful place enough! I just took my son here today for his first visit. He is only 18 months old and gets shy around new people so I didn’t know what to expect. We were immediately greeted with the friendliest staff and we even got a tour of the whole office. Our dental assistant, Shy, made my son feel so comfortable almost instantly. He loved looking at everything in the room and picking out his toothbrush and mirror. Dr. Azadpur was very personable and friendly too. My son allowed her to brush his teeth and examine his mouth which I was nervous prior to coming in if he was going to let her! We left the visit so happy and my son even said “fun!” as we were leaving. Not to mention it is extremely clean and I love that each child has their own room. I am still so thrilled with how our visit went and so happy I chose to bring my son here!!”

At our practice, we love to celebrate our mothers but especially for Mother’s Day. As a gesture of appreciation, on the Friday and Saturday before Mother's Day, we give roses to the moms who come in with their children for their dental appointments. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for their constant care and dedication.

For those looking to make the day extra special, Antonio's is hosting a lovely Mother’s Day brunch, reservations are required. If you are looking to pick some flowers for your mother, RJG Flowers in Simsbury is a locally owned florist and features beautiful, hand-crafted displays.

Our team has some exciting plans for Mother’s Day. Shari, our Marketing Director, will be participating in a regional competition with her Sweet Adeline barbershop chorus and then will celebrate on Sunday with a lovely brunch with her oldest son. Other team members will also be celebrating with their families, either with lunch or dinner.

We believe it’s important to celebrate mothers because they brought us into the world, taught us most of what we know, and continue to be our inspirations, heroes, and friends. Personally, I cherish my mother as my best friend. She just turned 84 this month and just returned from a trip around the world with my dad. Her energy and drive are infectious. She is always looking to learn new things and experiences.

Our practice is blessed with many wonderful mothers, including Shari, Jill, Pat (also a grandmother), Shy, Cindy, and our esteemed Dr. Azadpur. We celebrate their contributions both at home and in our practice.

Outside of celebrating our moms this month, we are also celebrating our Growth & Development program is going very well. We recently began offering expanders in our office and it has been a great success so far. We can keep services in the office instead of sending the kids to orthodontists. We are extremely excited for this program.

We are also so excited to announce that we are adding a fantastic new dentist to our team. Dr. Mitra Marvasti-Sitterly has joined our team, and we could not be happier. She has come in on weekends during the school year to help us out and will be joining the team full-time as of August 11. Please welcome her when you come in. We look forward to our families getting to know her soon.

We hope you all have a wonderful May and to all the mothers in our lives, Happy Mother’s Day!
