Spring has Arrived

Warmer days are just around the corner for Simsbury Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry! We are excited for some springtime freshness but we “spring clean” year round to stay organized.  Here in the office, we go through files regularly, maintain our stockrooms, store previous years' paperwork, recycle old magazines, replace worn out toys and books, and look for new wall decorations. At home, we go through closets and get rid of unneeded clothing (recycle, donate, toss), clean out the refrigerator, reorganize the linen closet, go through the pantry and throw away old and expired food, open and clean windows, clean out flower beds, and put away winter clothes and other items like shovels, boots, sleds, etc.

To transition into a new season our office has new quarterly promotions, updated decor (no more snowflakes!), a budget review, upcoming sponsored community events,  and an office wide "Good Health" challenge. Our team can't wait to participate in Relay for Life in May and a few other upcoming community events. Curious to learn more about the community events we are involved in? Ask us the next time you’re in the office!

We have a few recommendations for patients wanting to set new oral health goals for themselves this season. We suggest eating healthy foods and avoiding sugary and sticky sweets. Drinking more water can aid in washing away remaining food particles in your teeth and mouth as well as keep you hydrated!

We hope you have a happy and healthy March! We can’t wait to see you in our office again soon.
