The Panorex (or panoramic X-ray) machine is an extraoral, rotating dental imaging device that captures the entire mouth - upper and lower jaws, teeth, sinuses, and TMJ - in one, single 2D image. During the 12–20 second scan, the arm rotates around the patient's head, which is stabilized by chin and head rests. This allows the doctor to assess things like 3rd molars, or wisdom teeth
The Intra-Oral scanner allows us to take impressions without the messy impression material that may cause nausea or gagging. It can help us diagnose misaligned teeth and get treatments started much faster. Our scanner can also help us plan and build beautiful smiles to meet your treatment goals.
